Signed as a free agent...was a member of the silver medal winning Team Manitoba at the 2007 Canada Games...made his WHL debut with Chilliwack September 29th 2007 late in the first period against Prince George after starting netminder Matt Esposito was ejected for fighting...recorded his first WHL win on November 9th vs Red Deer, stopping 25/27 shots through overtime and six of seven shooters in the shootout in a 3-2 win...was named first star in a 2-0 Bruins loss in Vancouver December 15th after stopping 35 of the 36 shots. Earned his seconds first star of the season December 29th in Prince George after making 40 saves in a 3-2 victory...was the WHL nomination for Canadian Hockey League goaltender of the week for week ending December 30th.
