Barry Douglas - Director Of Marketing

As a lifelong resident of Chilliwack, Barry has a great knowledge of the community. Barry has ten years of experience in junior hockey including six years in marketing. Barry also spent time at the local radio station CHWK 1270AM working in the sports department, promotions and providing the play by play for hockey broadcasts. He is a graduate of the Columbia Institute of Technology and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers / Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley.

Vanni De Bartolo – Sales and Community Liaison

Vanni moved to Chilliwack in 1996 and completed high school at Chilliwack Senior Secondary School. After completing a two year broadcasting program at B.C.I.T. He spent 3 years working for Team 1040 All Sports Radio in Vancouver. During that time, he's covered local Vancouver Canucks games and also WHL games. Vanni has 5 years experience in Junior hockey doing marketing and sales, as well as calling hockey broadcasts. Away from the ice he loves to play soccer, softball, golf  and spending as much time with his family and friends as he can.  

Derek Amalfa - Director of Ticket Sales

Derek enters his first season with the Bruins after coming over from the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League. An Honours Graduate of Brock University’s Sport Management program, he has spent the past two seasons with the IceDogs after one season with the Ottawa Lynx Baseball Club. Derek brings a variety of experience and a true passion for junior hockey and sports. Away from the rink he enjoys golf, playing baseball, and the outdoors.  

Andrea Laycock – Client and Team Services

Andrea was born and raised in Chilliwack and has been an avid hockey fan for many years. She has been heavily involved with Chilliwack Youth Soccer since 1988. As well, she coaches her niece Vanessa's rep soccer team. In her spare time she enjoys golf, watching soccer and relaxing with friends and family.

Jacob Bestebroer – Media Relations / Website Management

A lifelong resident of Chilliwack, “JB” brings a passion for both hockey and the city of Chilliwack to the Bruins. His duties with the Bruins include web site management and media relations. JB will add color analyst on the Bruins broadcasts to his duties this season.

Robbie Snooks – Video Services

Robbie was born in St.John's, Newfoundland and has a degree in Mass Communications from Carleton University. Robbie has been a resident of Chilliwack for the past three years and is heavily involved with the Chilliwack YMCA, International Development and the Chilliwack Youth Soccer Association.

Janice Halpenny - Receptionist

Janice, native of Vancouver, BC and 13 year resident of Chilliwack, proudly joined the Bruins team in October, 2007. Her affiliation with Junior Hockey originally began as an anthem singer with her involvement increasing in many aspects of game production as a dedicated volunteer.  Janice, a “hockey mom”, currently lives in Chilliwack with her husband Tom and two children, Charissa and Josh.
