Darryl Porter

Darryl combines a 16 year sales and marketing career with a passion for the Western Hockey League. He enjoyed a career at Molson Canada as their Director of National Accounts until he entered into a partnership to buy the Tri-City Americans in 2002. He, along with existing partners in the Bruins Brian Burke and Glen Sather, owned the Americans until they formed a new partnership in Chilliwack to bring the Bruins to life in 2006.

Darryl is a proud member of the Chilliwack Rotary Club and currently is part of a campaign group to raise 5M for the updating of the Chilliwack Hospital.

Darryl has a wife Anneli, daughter Lauren, and a Golden Retriever Dallas who are the focus of his personal life. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golfing, and hiking in his spare time and is an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.

     
     
     
Brian Burke

Brian Burke

Brian Burke was named Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Anaheim Ducks on June 20, 2005. He joined the Ducks after a six-year stint as Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager, where he revitalized the team and community en route to consecutive 100+ point seasons and a Northwest Division title in 2003-2004.

Born in New England and raised in Minnesota, Burke originally joined the Canucks in June, 1987 as vice president and director of hockey operations. He left the Canucks in 1992 to become general manager of the Hartford Whalers.

Burke joined the NHL front office as senior vice president and director of hockey operations in September of 1993. While at the league office, he served as the chief disciplinarian, ruling on violations for on-ice player conduct. He worked closely with Commissioner Gary Bettman on league direction, including collective bargaining matters.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts in History from Providence University in 1977, Burke signed professionally with the Philadelphia Flyers. He played for the Marine Mariners (Flyers ' AHL affiliate) during the 1977-78 season, which culminated in a Calder Cup Championship. He then returned to school and graduated from Harvard Law in 1981.

Brian and his wife Jennifer currently reside in Yorba Linda. They have six children: Katie, Patrick, Brendan, Molly, Mairin and Fiona Grace.

     
     
     

Glen Sather

Rangers President and General Manger Glen Sather has authored a Hall of Fame career that has spanned 28 years in hockey and five Stanley Cup Championships. He is the league's longest tenured general manager, serving 21 years with Edmonton and the past five seasons with New York.

Sather became New York's 12th President and 10th General Manager on June 1, 2000. He also served as head coach from January 30, 2003 - February 25, 2004. Prior to coming to New York, Sather was the architect of the Edmonton Oilers' five Stanley Cup Championships between 1984-1990, overseeing the development of a revolutionary team concept as well as some of the finest individual talents ever to play the game. His achievements were recognized and honored on September 9, 1997 when he became the first member of the Edmonton Oilers organization to be selected to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

A native of High River, Alberta, Sather enjoyed a successful junior career with the Edmonton Oil Kings. Following the completion of his amateur days, he became property of the Detroit Red Wings but would never wear a Winged Wheel jersey. After a season with the Central League's Memphis Wings, Sather was drafted from the Red Wings by the Boston Bruins in 1965, and would make his National Hockey League debut with the Bruins in the 1966-67 season. Sather would go on to play 10 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues, Montreal Canadiens and Minnesota North Stars. In 658 NHL regular season games, the feisty winger would register 80 goals and 113 assists for 193 points, along with 724 penalty minutes.

     
     
     

Moray Keith

Moray Keith is the President of the Dueck Auto Group, Dueck Chevrolet Cadillac Hummer Limited, Canada’s largest automobile dealership, located in Vancouver, Dueck Pontiac Buick GMC Limited in Downtown Vancouver, and Dueck Lansdowne Pontiac Buick Cadillac GMC in Richmond, BC.

In addition to being a proud owner of the WHL Chilliwack Bruins, he is the President of the Chiefs Development Group, which, in partnership with the City of Chilliwack, built and opened Prospera Centre in 2004.  Moray is also an Owner of the Langley Chiefs of the BCHL.  Moray was the Vice Chairman of the 2005 Grey Cup, and Co-Chair of the Marketing Committee for the 2006 World Jr. Hockey Tournament in Vancouver. 

Moray lives in Tsawwassen with his wife, Pamela.  They have two children, their son Greg, and their daughter Courtney. 

     
     
     

Jim Bond

Jim Bond is President and CEO of Ventana Construction Corporation. Ventana is a successful General Contractor, working throughout western Canada doing commercial renovation and multi family projects with many repeat business clients, including Ballard Power, Rockey Mountaineer Vacations, GWL Realty Advisors, Dueck GM, Future Shop, Vancity, and Unimet. Through Jim's general love of life, he enjoys many outdoor activities suck as skiing, golfing, horseback riding, biking, riding his Harley and of course hockey.
