Director of Scouting - Garry Pochipinski

Garry and his wife Michelle reside in Olds, Alberta. Garry was a long time employee of SaskPower prior to his role as Director of Scouting with the Bruins. Garry has a strong coaching background and has been involved with the Saskatchewan Amateur Hockey Association at many levels of development.

Scouting Coordinator - Rob Morphy

Rob resides in Kamloops BC with his wife Tammy and their three children. Traveling extensively throughout the province Rob has developed a very strong hockey network. Rob has been a scout in the WHL for the past four years.

Scout Coordinator - Jim Nadon

Jim and his wife Jocelyn live in Regina Saskatchewan. Jim is a decorated and retired RCMP officer. A former goaltender, Jim has a wealth of scouting experience, 8 years with Swift Current, 3 years with Tri-City and most notably 6 years with Edmonton/Kootenay, from expansion until their first Memorial Cup. Jim’s son Jim Nadon Jr. is a scout with the Kootenay Ice.

Manitoba Scout - Lorne Sanders

Lorne lives in Winnipeg with his wife Val and their two children. Lorne has been scouting in the WHL for the past three years and has proven to be an excellent hockey scout. Lorne travels the province of Manitoba for Dare Foods and has a very good network in the hockey community.

Lower Mainland Scout - Murray Porter

Murray, the father of Bruins Owner Darryl Porter has been scouting in the WHL. for the past 3 years. A tireless worker, Murray can be found in a hockey rink most nights during the hockey season.

Alberta Scout - Ray Ference

Ray and his wife Sue reside in Calgary. The father of N.H.L. defenseman Brad Ference, Ray has been involved in hockey in Calgary for many, many years. Currently a Director with the Calgary Royals Midget AAA program, Ray had been scouting in the WHL. for the past 6 years.

BC Scout – Kootenay - Dan Noble

Dan divides his time between Fernie, BC where he teaches high school and Calgary, AB. Dan has two children. Dan is a graduate of U.B.C. and has coached at many levels and has worked as a scout in the WHL for the past four years.

BC Scout – Vancouver Island - Pat Corrado

Pat and his wife Pam reside in Campbell River with their two children Josie and Nolan. Pat is the Vice-President of the CVI Group of Companies. His hockey background includes playing Junior B, Junior A and Canadian College hockey. Pat also has 10 years of successful coaching experience at the Junior B and Junior A levels as well as having scouted in the WHL for 3 years.

Northern BC Scout - Dave Smith

Dave and his wife Robin reside in Prince George with their two sons Mado and Linden. Dave works at the Prince George Free Press as the Advertising Manager. He has an extensive hockey background which includes Scouting in the WHL for the past 9 seasons as well as coaching at all levels from Pee-Wee AAA to the Junior A Spruce Kings.
