The Bruins have made it our mission to become actively involved in the Fraser Valley area. We are dedicated to assisting charitable organizations that work to improve the health, education, and well-being of children and their families.

The Bruins have supported local schools in Agassiz, Mission, Chilliwack, and Abbotsford with our Books with the Bruins reading program. We also helped out local charities Big Brothers and Big Sisters along with the Salvation Army Christmas Kettles, Soup Kitchen, and Food Drive. Countless hours were spent supporting local sponsors in community events as well.

As an organization, we take pride in serving our community and its surrounding areas through recreational and educational support programs, publicity and the involvement of our players, coaches, broadcasters, staff, and mascot. It is our goal to be a catalyst for the community spirit.

Our hockey club was also an avid supporter of Minor hockey throughout the Fraser Valley and also created a great relationship with various minor soccer associations by way of 50/50 draws. We were able to support young boys and girls through their sport while at the same time creating a fun environment for them.

I would like to thank all our players who made outstanding efforts to give back to the community. Bruins players will continue to make appearances at local area schools, hospitals, youth groups, community events and more. Our players will know that being responsible role models in the community is just as important as on ice performance.
