The Chilliwack Bruins provide young hockey players with the best of both worlds: Obtain a high standard of education and play in the world’s premiere development league.

While with the Bruins, each player is required to attend school, either at the high school or university level. With the help of our Education Advisor Maryanne Mussell, each player is able to select courses that will best enable them to reach their educational goals.

Players in high school attend morning classes at Sardis Secondary School and are provided tutors if needed. With the aid of our educational advisor, it is ensured that all courses taken at Sardis Secondary are fully transferable to the player's home high school.

Players who have graduated from high school are able to take university level courses at the University College of the Fraser Valley (UCFV) located in Chilliwack. UCFV offers 12 bachelor’s degrees, one applied master’s degree, and more than 80 certificate and diploma programs in applied and academic areas, including Trades.
