Bruins rookie Ryan Howse scored his first goal of the tournament in Team Pacific's 6-2 win over Slovakia Sunday at the World Under 17 Challenge.

London, ON – Brendan Silvester (Port Coquitlam, BC/Seattle, WHL) scored two goals in the third period to help lift Team Pacific to a 6-2 win over Team Slovakia on Sunday at the 2008 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

Pacific also got goals from Ryan Howse (Prince George, BC/Chilliwack, WHL), Landon Ferraro (Vancouver, BC/Red Deer, WHL), Justin Maylan (Calgary, AB/Moose Jaw, WHL) and Chase Schaber (Red Deer, AB/Calgary, WHL).

Slovakia’s goals were scored by Juraj Majadan and Miroslav Preisinger.

Pacific held a 44-27 edge in shots.

Team Pacific is now 1-1 in the tournament. Their next game is Tuesday against Finland.
