Bruins Edge 'Tips

Power play goals by Jeff Einhorn, Mark Santorelli and Nick Holden paced the Chilliwack Bruins to a 3-2 win over the Everett Silvertips in Everett Friday night. With the win, the Bruins improve to 19-17-3-1 on the season, good for 40 points and fifth place in the Western Conference.

Chilliwack led 2-0 after one and 2-1 after two. Chilliwack was 3 for 7 with the man advantage. The Tips were 1/7. Everett outshot the Bruins by a count of 28-19. Matt Esposito earned the victory for the Bruins, Leland Irving took the loss for Everett

Great seats are still available for Saturday's home game vs Prince George. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone 1-800-663-9311 or in person at any ticketmaster location. Bruins players Brayden Metz and Chris Van Duynhoven will be signing autographs on the Prospera Centre concourse immediately following the game.

Ice Chips: Nick Holden now has nine goals on the season, one more than he had all of last year...Matt Esposito has 15 wins this season, one best then his personal best set last season with the Bruins...Chilliwack continued their torrid pace with the man advantage on the road. The Bruins lead the league with a success rate of 27.4 (26/95) on the power play away from home.
