Mark Guggenberger stopped all 22 shots he faced to record his fourth shutout of the season as the Swift Current Broncos blanked the visiting Chilliwack Bruins 2-0 on Saturday.

Matt Tassone and Jesse Dudas scored for the Broncos (37-22-1-5), who have won three of their last four games. The victory keeps the Broncos two points back of Brandon for sixth place in the Eastern Conference, and only four points behind Regina for top spot in the East Division.

Matt Esposito made 29 saves in the loss for the Bruins (26-32-4-4), who finish their East Division road trip with an 0-5-1-0 record. The loss keeps the Bruins four points up on Kamloops for seventh place in the Western Conference.
