The Chilliwack Bruins scored four power play goals and one shorthanded goal en route to a 5-1 victory over the Everett Silvertips Saturday night in Chilliwack.  Evan Pighin continued his hot play picking up two goals and one assist. Mark Santorelli added three assists to sit one point back of the WHL scoring lead heading into the final day of the season.

Mark Friesen had another stellar night in goal, stopping 26 of 27 shots for his second consecutive victory, while Shayne Barrie of the Silvertips was peppered all night, taking the loss while stopping 38 of 43 shots.

Chilliwack held period leads of 2-0 and 3-0. The Bruins went 4/11 on the power play, Everett was 0/6

The Bruins close out their 2008 regular season schedule against the Vancouver Giants in Vancouver on Sunday night in a first round playoff preview.
