Chilliwack 7 Prince George 2

Oscar Moller scored three goals and Mark Santorelli added five assists to pace the Bruins (10-4-1-0) to a 7-2 win over the Prince George Cougars (6-9-0-0) Saturday night in Prince George. Moller now has 12 goals in his last five games.

The Bruins led 2-1 after twenty minutes of play. Moller opened the scoring at the 17:24 mark with Chilliwack on a two man advantage. Just 36 seconds later Colby Kulhanek potted his 8th of the season on the powerplay. Parker Stanfield brought the Cougars to within one on a two man advantage with 36 seconds left in the period.

Greg Gardner tied the game just 39 seconds into the second period but it was all Chilliwack after that. Nick Holden and Brandon Campos increased the Bruins lead to 4-2 before Mike Proudley, with the game's first even strength goal gave Chilliwack a three goal cushion after forty minutes.

Oscar Moller, the reigning Canadian Hockey Player of the week scored the only two goals of the third period.

Prince George outshot Chilliwack 27-24. Matt Esposito went the distance in goal for Chilliwack to earn his 10th victory of the season. Prince George starting goaltender Real Cyr was pulled in favor of Tommy Tartaglione after allowing five goals.

Chilliwack went 4/8 with the man advantage. Prince George was 2/11

The Bruins next game is Friday when they travel to Kelowna to take on the Rockets.
